Majesty Barber and Hair Studio

Fit for a King

I've worked with HB for many years now assisting his small barber business grow to include a steady array of clients. From business cards to posters, from point-of-sale or customer intake/booking software to a custom website, or even throwing in a dash of social media engagement, HB continues to explore ways to help his clients feel like royalty.

Pride Alliance LGBT Student Organization

Work to be 'Proud' Of

I was thrilled to serve as Marketing Coordinator during my time at the University of Maryland's LGBT Student Organization (GSA), the Pride Alliance. During this time, I designed fliers for the organization and managed its website and social media presence. Specifically, my team lead a rally for domestic partnership rights, honored the Transgender Day of Remembrance, organized a music event series, and I curated a gallery event in the Student Union's student organization lobby called "Proudly Coloring Outside the Lines" as part of the LGBT recognition month.

Hyattsville Community Development Corporation

A Mission of Revitalization

I am thankful that with my work as the Economic Development Coordinator for the Hyattsville CDC, I was able to put my graphic design services to a public use for 6.5 years! I created websites, maps, custom fliers, newsletters, guides, and the like. Of note here are designs I've created or adapted for collaborative programs, like the Gateway Arts District promotional website, MyGatewayArts.org, and the CDC's own Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival.

Redesign

During a brief internship with Vinny Prell at the NUJLS (National Union of Jewish LGBT Students), I updated the annual event's website design with a touch of vibrance, pomp, and modern order.

Margo Humphrey

An Online Home

Professor Humphrey was my printmaking teacher in 2009. I was delighted and honored that she hired me to later design her website where she'd make available her portfolio of work, well archived in her Driskell Center catalog.
